##The Autodidact Journey
I started my software journey driven by raw curiosity: wanting to know how applications actually communicate over networks, how operating systems manage memory, and why software behaves the way it does under the hood.
As an autodidact, I didn't wait for formal curriculums. I dissected binaries, tested networking protocols, built servers from scratch, and embraced open-source code as my masterclass. This hands-on approach shaped my philosophy: understand the fundamentals first, and any tool becomes solvable.
Over the years, that curiosity evolved into building the Forge ecosystem — from ForgeDesk (a private self-hosted remote desktop client) to ForgeDownloadManager (a high-speed multi-threaded Rust downloader) and ForgeGIS (bringing local-first geospatial computation into the browser via DuckDB-Wasm).
